Modi-Tite MER-370 is a solvent-free solid Epoxy Resin and MH-995 is an acid anhydride solid Hardener. Filler can be added to gain required properties and also for cast reducing. This system is widely used for high voltage current transformers, casting insulating, switch gear components, insulators, potential transformers, stirrings etc. in electrical industries.
Modi-Tite MR-270 is an unmodified Epoxy Resin which is combination with Hardener MH-826 and Accelerator MRA-0702 is cured in a hard mass. It has very fast gelling nature at high temperature so the system is ideal for casting by pressure gelatin techniques.
Modi-Tite MR-125 is a modified Epoxy Resin. It's Hardener MH-951 is a low viscosity aliphatic polyamine and MH-91 is a low viscosity polyamide curing agent. During curing no volatile matter evaporate. Very low shrinkage and it may be reduced by adding fillers such as silica flour, china clay, the resin may be coloured very easily.
Moditite EL 301 is a thermosetting epoxy resin of medium viscosity. This converted into solid with addition of hardener MH-933, MH-931or MH-903 as suggested ratio. No volatile material vibrate during polymerization. Select suitable hardener depends on the required pot life, curing temperature head and chemical resistance.
